Walking is a good therapy, it's much better when you plan a location in advance, try to pick a location that includes clear, clean air, no traffic and allowing you to take your mind of everything and enjoy nature.
Walking will help the blood flow, it helps stretch the legs, it helps clear the mind and develops long lasting healthy memories which you can bring forward with you. If you want a challenge then you can start speed walking keeping the pace up.
This site is at the Humber estuary as it's mouth opens to the North Sea, it's offers an outstanding view of the humber bridge, the bridge is as long as San Fransisco's Golden Gate bridge in the US and the Akashi Kaikyo bridge in Japan, it's built out of 480,000 tones of concrete and can hold thousands of african bull elephants. Hull nearest city does little to promote this wonder of the world but you can take the the route that takes you down the edge of the estuary and enjoy spectacular views - who knew this would be exercise!
