Do we think judges across all courts should be paid more, yes

By Henri Pearson, 14 February 2020

Judges across the United Kingdom should be paid more, judges salaries start as low as £60,000 per annum and the highest paid judge is around £300,000 per annum when this is factored in to the title they hold, the paper work, the longevity of service before being recognised it completely outweighs arguments against high paid celebrities on reality tv shows making hundreds of thousands from partying the Mediterranean.

Judges work long hours in worn down court rooms, perhaps unorganised to judges who have little sight of other industries which pay high salaries in their millions with less responsibilities. Judges are often perceived to be the "elite of elite" but many forget they have to put in years to qualify and are completely mis-understood my the general public that may struggle to find there way round the legal frameworks, though they do impose much smaller sentences than those in countries that still carry out stoning penalties, executions and sentences into hundreds of years.
